Chris Lake – Only One / Mission, “The One Ep” 2008 Rising Music

The One EP is the second release from Rising Music’s Summer Series with the first being the huge smash “Start Again”. Chris is in fine form with this awesome EP of summer house music that will rock dance floors from Ibiza to Australia.

‘Only One‘ is quality electronic music at it’s finest. The track is built around a solid thumping groove with space age zaps and keys. As the track builds a huge synth line bubbles up out of nowhere and the track dissolves into an amazing break down. The clever vocals help drop the track back in to it full pace.

‘Mission’ is funky yet fresh electro that has got one of THE hooks of the summer!

A simple yet effective drum loop and funky bassline kick this track off with very little to give away what’s coming! When the hook finally drops the dancefloor is guaranteed to go wild! Half way through the track drops into an almost sinister section but the funk comes back and so does that hook! You will be humming this all summer long…
